Chess For Charity

What Is Chess For Charity?
Chess For Charity is a pop-up event I host around Brisbane. So far, I've hosted the events at Roma St Parklands & Southbank. The idea is simple: we play a game of chess and the loser donates $2 (or more if they want to) to a charity of the winner's choice!

I ran two of these events and they've been awesome. I'm so grateful for how many Brisbanites have been keen to have a bit of fun and get involved with chess. A recent study showed Brisbane ranks in the top 20 friendliest cities in the world. Getting out there for charity I'm really seeing it, feeling it and loving it.

I also donate 10% of all profits from KJ's Chess Coaching to charity.
